Entry 2:
Hey,
I'm just returning home from a crazy soccer filled summer. First in June I went down to Stanford for a week long all girls camp. It was a good learning experience as well as a great way to meet girls with some of the same ambitions as myself. Next in July went to the Syracuse camp, where I had tonnes of fun while training hard. The last camp I attended was in association with Hartford (SGA), I really had to work hard at the camp but thats what made it all the more fun. I just got back from Belgium where I trained with RRFC with one of my close friends who is about to start her second year of college. We also did a lot of sightseeing and tourist related stuff; we went to Brussels, Dinant Numar, Koln, Amsterdam and Paris. I had a crazy amount of fun. I am currently at my Grandmothers house in the Okanogan to get a break before I start my season.
I have a few pictures of Hartford and Belgium but I will add them in the photo section.
Thanks,
Jaclyn
Hello,
This is my first entry and there will be more to come. I recently returned from Tampa Bay, Florida for the USL Super-Y League Finals. The team's results were 1-2-1 and I started the first and concellation games. Though we should of done better, we had a lot of fun and I really enjoyed myself.
We stayed and a beautiful hotel with four of our Mountain WFC teams and a dozen other teams from all over the US. We ate at the hotel too, which was, unfortunately, not the best choice taste-wise. The evening of our last game we did go out for dinner, which was thankfully much better! For fun we went shopping around the city, walked the beachy coast of the Gulf of Mexico and went to the zoo. These activities were very relaxing and helped the team bond. The whole trip was a great bonding tool and I wish it were possible for the whole team to get together next year and do the same.
Overall, going to Florida as a team was a great experience including hard work in the scorching sun as well of loads of fun.
