Mobile Storm Tryout Information

Please arrive early to turn in paperwork! Players wear a numbered jersey/t-shirt or one with your last name on it. Developmental tryouts will be in January. If you are undecided about a team or the developmental league, please come to tryouts so that we can evaulate you.

PRE- TRYOUT CLINIC- Cost is $20.00 per player, Open to all players, regardless of club involvment. Please bring Storm Waiver form which is under the forms tab to the left.

For tryouts you MUST have the following to be able to tryout:

1.    Register with USA Volleyball and have proof of registration with you. To register go to:  http://www.gulfcoastvolleyball.org/ and follow instructions for registration. You do have to pay online at the time of registration for your individual registration fee.  If you are considering trying out for one of our teams, Regional, Power, Elite then you must register as a JUNIOR MEMBER. Registration fee is NON-Refundable.

2.    Click on the forms tab of the above website and print out the Medical Waiver form. You MUST have that form filled out and NOTARIZED to be able to tryout. Turn medical form and proof of registration in at check in.

3.    All players will be placed within the Storm Club Volleyball program. We have 4 different levels of teams and each player will be placed on one of those teams and not cut from the Storm program. Placement of the player is based on skill level,  and time and financial commitment.

4.    There will be a $150.00 tryout fee for all players trying out for  Regional, Power and Elite Teams. This is a nonrefundable fee. $100.00 of the tryout fee will go towards your first payment, $50.00 is a tryout fee only. Before you try out for Storm make sure you are committed to playing with our club, regardless of the team you are placed on. If you are trying out for developmental teams, there is a $25.00 tryout fee. There are no tryouts for the Volleytots.

4.    Tryout check list:  Register with Gulf Coast Region, bring proof of registration, bring NOTARIZED medical form, bring tryout fee.
