Joann Williams

Joann Williams is the owner and operator of The Tampa Five Star Basketball organization. Born and raised in the Tampa Bayarea, she has established a following through promoting and organizing local events. Being familiar with the community, she recognized the void and need in regards to female athletics.Seeking to incorporate a semi-professional women’s league to the Tampa Bay area, Ms. Williams generated resources to recruit and establish this organization. With the help of local supporters and sponsorship, Tampa Five Star Women’s Basketball Team will bring athletic competition and community service to the Tampa Bay Area.

Through promoting events in the Tampa Bay area, I have met several female athletes that were interested in a women’s league at a competitive level. Many female athletes are limited to competition at the collegiate level and have few choices in athletic participation once they have graduated or moved into their careers. The organization will be an outlet for those seeking to compete at a semi-professional level and give back to the surrounding community.

TALICA NASH

1976 ~

I was born in February of 1976 in Tampa, FL USA. I was Born to Timothy Nash & Brenda Ri’chard. We lived in a Temple Terrace and I attended Hillsborough High School from 91 - 94. I grew up in Hillsborough County, and was active on my Junior Varsity and Varsity High girls Basketball team. I studied at the Hillsborough Community College for three years and graduated with a AA in Mass Communications. I went to work for United Healthcare, as a provider installation rep where I worked there for a total of 13 years. I lost my father to Cancer in 2009 & Mother to a tragic car accident in June, 2011; a life changing event and I then decided to change my life. I left United Healthcare and started my on cleaning company in August 2011. Above All Cleaning, LLC celebrated its 1 year birthday in August 2012, where I presently employ 5 people and now manage 5 total accounts. Currently, I am heavily involved in the short film industry, where I have had the opportunity to work as a Production Assistant, Art Department Assistant, and Film Script Supervisor on 3 different movie Sets.
