Fall Update:
11/7/11- After winning the first six games of the fall season, the Bandits look to finish the season undefeated but must first go through the talented Wildebeest. The Bandits have been hitting on all cylinders in the fall and look to take the momentum into the playoffs. As a franchise the Bandits got their 50th win during the fall since joining the MABL in 2006. Strong pitching and a deadly offense look to seal the deal for the Bandits this fall.

Bandits Lose Heartbreaker to G. Braves, L 5-7
8/28/11- The first round of the playoffs was kicked off in a match between the G.Braves and Bandits. The Bandits previously beat the Braves twice in two meetings in the regular season and hoped to continue the streak. Unfortunately the offense got started a little to late as the Braves beat the Bandits by a mere two runs putting them into the second round of the playoffs. Look for the Bandits to stay loose as they are putting a team together for the fall season.

Bandits Beat Barons for Second Time, W 12-3
8/21/11- For second time this season the Bandits faced the Barons down at Lost Mountain. Preparing for the playoffs the Bandits gave the Barons 4 different looks with pitching and it proved to throw them off drastically. Offense came alive by putting up 8 runs in the 4th inning and never looked back from there. With the win the Bandits secure the 4th seed ending the regular season and look to host the Gwinnett Braves.

Henderson shuts down G.Braves CG, 9-4
8/14/11- Last time the Bandits and the G.Braves met the Bandits came out victorious 12-11 on a game winning sac fly. Seth Henderson took the mound and kept the Braves in check allowing 4 runs, 1 earned on 6 hits. The Bandits took the lead early and never gave up as they came out with a big win. The Bandits will finish off the season against the Barons. The Bandits faced them earlier in the season and won 12-3.

Bandits give the lead up late, lose 11-5
8/7/11- The biggest game of the year against the Cobb Braves was a battle up until the 7th inning when the Braves took advantage of some mishaps. Leading 4-2 up until the 7th the Braves opened up the flood gates and scored 9 runs over 2 innings to beat the Bandits by a final score of 11-5. The Bandits will play the Gwinnett Braves next weekend in a vital game for playoff seeding.

Rays no match for Bandits, 13-4
7/31/11- Bandits veteran pitcher Seth Henderson took the mound and pitched 6 scoreless innings and tallying 5 K's. Henderson was untouchable only giving up 4 hits over that stretch. The Bandits offense heated up powered by a 2 run triple by rookie catcher Corey Brown and Dustin Leslies 3 run bomb in the top of the 8th. Next week will be the biggest game of the year as the Bandits (11-4) take on division rival Cobb Braves (11-4) for first place.

Bandits Get the Win Against McBluv, 8-5
7/24/11- It was a see-saw battle from the beginning as the Bandits took on McBluv at Campbell Middle. The McBluv came to play as they held the Bandits to only 8 runs. Rickey Davenport came off the DL after 9 games of no pitching and got the win, while Bandits ace Bill Cordell got the save. Next the Bandits will look to take on the Rays. The Bandits have been waiting for redemption as the Rays stole game 1 from them.

Bandits Go Up Big Early, Cruise to Win, 13-7
7/17/11- The last time these two team met was the first game of the season and was decided by one run. The Bandits knew they had to show up to this game and did so by getting an early 11-2 lead and coasted from there. Team ace Bill "Ghetto Country" Cordell took the mound and pitched 7 innings, only giving up 2 ER. The Bandits bats came alive as they struck for 13 runs on 17 hits. The Bandits will see the McBluv next. Last time they met the Bandits came out with a win 14-2, but they're no slouches as they have kept it close with all the top ranked teams in the league. Look for a close game.

Bandits Top Beest Again, 20-8
7/10/11- Things went the Bandits (8-4) way as they took on the Wildebeest (2-10) for a second time this season. J-Wood started the game and struck out 5 in two innings pitched, setting the tone for the rest of the game. Henderson, Glass, and Owens all finished out the rest of the game pitching. The bats came alive as well as the Bandits put up 20 runs in 7 innings. The Bandits face a tough task ahead as they take on a good Angels team next week at Lost Mountain Park. Look for Bandits ace Bill Cordell to take the mound as the last time the two teams met the game ended 9-8 with the Bandits victorious.

Rain Out Forces Game to End Early
6/26/11- Severe thunderstorms rushed in to force an early game for the Bandits. The Bandits came into play with a thin squad, only sporting 9 players. The Grizzlies jumped on top of the Bandits 8-3 before the rain. Bandits players just could not get the bats going on tallying 4 hits in 6 innings. The Bandits look to rebound against the Wildebeest who they beat earlier in the season.

Bill "Ghetto Country" Cordell Pitches CG, W 4-2
6/19/11- "It is hot as pig balls!" exclaimed some teammates as the Bandits faced the Titans on a brutally hot Sunday. The game was 0-0 until the 7th when the Titans struck first with 1 run. Bandits come up next with runners on first and second and Cordell blast a gapper scoring two and Leslie also getting a two run double in the top of the 9th. The game was no doubt a nail biter from beginning to end as the Bandits come out victorious and move to 7-3. The Grizzlies also are 7-3 as they look to meet next week at Lost Mountain.

J-Wood has Revelation, Bandits Win 12-3
6/12/11- Not really much is known about the mystical J-Wood except that he hails from the land of Temple and works as the chief of Sunoco. His grizzly looks; some comparing him to rusty nails and shards of bloody glass and others to crazy eyed Bill Goldberg, led him to have a revelation one morning in the wee hours that he should start pitching. Striking out 10 in five innings gave him the win as the Bandits clicked on all cylinders dominating every facet of the game. No doubt J-Wood gets the coveted MVP of the game. Bandits look to square off next week against a good Titan team that have won 4 straight.

Bandits Blown Out by Outlaws 12-5
6/5/11- It just wasn't the Bandits day as the number 1 team Outlaws dominated the game from the beginning. Walks and errors were the Bandits kryptonite. The Bandits look to rebound against a good Barons team next week.

Late Inning Heroics, Bandits win 12-11!
5/22/11- It was a hot day down at Lost Mountain Park as the Bandits (4-2) took on the red hot Gwinnett Braves (3-2). The Braves jumped out to a 6-0 league which could have ended the game for Bandits. The Bandits came back and scored 4 in the bottom half to go 6-4. From there it was a see-saw battle and eventually a stale mate at 11-11 from the 5th inning. The bottom of the 8th the Bandits rallied as J-bo led off the inning with a single, followed up by a hit and run by Seth Henderson. With men on first and third, Dustin Leslie comes up with a big sac fly that scored the winning run. The Bandits have next week off for Memorial Day weekend but will come back to an east meets west show down against the top team Outlaws.

Bandits Beat Devil Rays Via Forfeit
5/15/11- The Bandits get the win via forfeit over the Devil Rays due to illegal players being used. Next week the Bandits look to face the red hot Gwinnett Braves.

Bandits Back On Track, Get the W
5/6/11- It was a big night for the Bandits as they bounce back from two losses. Pitching was great, and the offense finally clicked. The Bandits will look to face the Devil Rays next.

Braves Tomahawk Bandits, L 3-15
5/1/11- It was just not the Bandits day as the Cobb Braves completely dismantled the Bandits. Though the Bandits out hit the Braves 10-9, the Bandits struggled defensively committing 7 errors. Pitching was spotty as well walking a season and possibly team high 15. Bandits will look to rebound against the Wildebeest Friday under the lights at Campbell Middle.

Bandits Blow Game, Lose 7-10
4/17/11- Bandits had the early lead at 6-0 but ended up letting the game due to untimely errors and the bats going cold.

Bandits Dominate McBluv 14-2
4/10/11- It was a warm and sunny day down at the park as the Bandits hosted McBluv. Rickey Daventport took the mound and pitched lights out through 5 innings. Brian "Big Puma" Scott also joined the team today going 3-3 with 5 RBI's! Next for the Bandits are the Wildebeest in a makeup game Friday night.

Bandits Win Opener 9-8
4/3/11- Finally after months of waiting the time had finally come for the Bandits to take the field. Rookie Rickey Davenport took the mound and after having a shaky start by giving up 4 in the 1st inning, he settled down nice and only allowed 1 more run through 5 innings. Chris Glass went 4-4 with a triple and three runs scored as the Bandits scooted past the Angels by a final of 9-8. Next up for the Bandits are McBluv. Still a lot of debate has risen from what McBluv actually is?

Bandits Become Red Bandits!
Since joining the Sunday league the Bandits join Don Pikes Reds organization making them part of a farm system. This now makes it easier to acquire new players and play tournament ball.

Bandits Join Sunday League!!
You heard right, the Bandits formerly a Saturday league team are joining the ranks of some of the best in the MABL Sunday League. Comprised of pretty much a whole new team, the Bandits look to be competitive will loads of talent! The Bandits have started practicing and look to take the field sometime in late March.
