All-Star Soccer Camp

Friendswood Boys Soccer Coach Stephen Peter is hosting the 5th annual Mustang All-Star Soccer Camp.

The dates are as follows:
Monday July 30, 2007
Through
Friday August 3, 2007
8:30 until 11:00

Each camper will be taught proper technique for basic soccer skills (dribbling, passing, trapping, shooting, etc…) to begin the week. As the week progresses we will move on through to some individual and team tactical philosophies.

The cost is $85.00 per camper, $25.00 is non-refundable. There will be NO refunds given after Wednesday July 19th. Campers from the same family will receive $10.00 off each additional camper. Each camper will receive a camp shirt. At the end of the week an awards ceremony will be held where each camper will receive a certificate of participation and various awards will be announced.

Registration begins April 20th and ends July 10th. Late registration is available but will be an additional $10.00. Late registrants are not guaranteed a shirt though every effort will be made to get them one.

Registration will be at the back practice fields (Across Mustang Rd. from the Stadium) Monday morning the 30th starting at 8:00 a.m.
Mission Statement

The Mustang All-Star Soccer Camp’s mission is to provide a sound fundamental base for each camper to build on for their upcoming Fall season. Campers will be exposed to the type of drills and style of play that will be used by the High School Coaches.
Camp Store

There will be a camp store where the campers will be able to purchase different things such as gatorade, chips, ice pops, etc… Parents will have the option of prepaying for their kids store purchases on Monday.
What to Bring

Campers need to bring water, cleats, sunscreen, shin guards, and a soccer ball.


Meet the Staff
Director: Stephen Peter
Stephen has been the Boys Varsity coach for the past 15 seasons. In 15 seasons the boys program has won 10 district titles. He has a U.S.S.F. coaching license and has been working camps in the area each summer for the last 18 years. Stephen played intercollegiate soccer at Midwestern State University.

Co-Director: Laura Peter
Laura has been the Girls Varsity coach for 6 years although not in succession. Under her coaching they have won 5 district championships. Overall, she has 11 years of Head coaching experience and has been working camps for several years in the area. The Lady Mustangs are two time Regional Champs and this past season were State Finalists.

Jered Shriver
Head Coach at Clear Lake for the last 7 years. He has led the Falcons to 5 playoff appearances.
Chris Cobb
Head Coach at Clear Creek for the last 9 years. He has led the Wildcats to 5 playoff appearances.
J.T. Patton
Assistant Boys Coach at Friendswood this past season. The JV finished as District Champs.
Misty Kroon
Assistant Girls Coach at Friendswood this past season. The JV finished as District Champs.

There will also be current high school players, ex-high school players, and current/ex-collegiate players completing the staff
