The Sin City Devils defeated the #2 ranked CP-Deportivo 5-2 on Sunday to clinch a 1st round bye in the playoffs. The Devils finished the regular season 11-3 and will now play this Saturday and Sunday in the ZBL 2007 Semi-Finals.
The Devils defeatd the Embarq Green Sox 13-5. This game was called by the umpires in the bottom of the 6th due to unsportsman like conduct once again by the Embarg Green Sox. The Embarq Green Sox are sponsored by and employees of Embarq telephone company. The Embarq catcher punched one of the Devils players in the face and then the dugouts were cleared.

The Devils were looking for their 1st shutout of the year and sure enough they got it defeating the Dodgers 11-0 in 7 innings. Mitch Sorensen pitched 6 solid shutout innings striking out 9 batters and only allowing 2 hits. Sam Cohoon came in and struck out the side in the 7th inning to close it up.
The Devils scored 7 runs in the first 3 innings and that would be all they needed in order to get by the Henderson Scorpions. This was a rematch of last years semi final playoff game between the two teams. The Devils won that game in extra innings. Tim Fallon pitched 6 solid innings only allowing 1 run on 10 hits. Sam Cohoon pitched the final 3 for the save.
The Devils came out strong on opening day defeating the A's 19-4. Matt Estrada threw 5 innings strong striking out 6 and only giving up 1 earned run.

The Devils tied with the Zacatecas 5-5. The Devils tied the game in the bottom of the 9th inning and were ready to play extra innings, but the Zacatecas chose not to keep on playing. Maybe they were scared because the Devils had all the momentum on their side.
The Devils crushed the Zacatecas (formerly of the mexican league) 16-3 on Sunday. The Devils came out and showed why they are the ZBL 2006 defending champions.
Sam Cohoon hit a 2 run bomb in the top of the 7th. This was Sam's first homerun of the season.
The Devils defeated the Dodgers 13-0 on Sunday to begin their 2007 Exhibition games 1-0. The Devils started strong and finished strong by shutting out the newly formed Dodgers.
The Devils defeated the Paradise Rattlers 16-1 and 11-6 to sweep the Championship series. The Devils were crowned 2006 ZBL Champions and will defend their title next year in February!!!!!

The Devils defeated the Henderson Scorpions 12-5 to advance to the Championship series against the Paradise Rattlers which begins on Saturday December 9, 2006. This was a 1st round playoff game which took 10 innings to complete.
The Devils season is over! We finished 6-8 in the Zone league and 4-10 in the Vegas Valley league.
The Devils will play in the Zone Baseball League in February 2007!
