Final Tournament Brackets are posted in the "Handouts" section.

The County Tournament begins Saturday, January 28.  The 1^st round for 2^nd& 3^rd grade girls and boys, as well as, 4^th & 5^thgrade girls will be held on that date. 4^th & 5^th grade boys will play their 1^stround on Thursday, February 2.  The semi-finals and finals for all age groups will be Saturday, February 4.  The complete tournament bracket is posted on ballcharts.com/ccyouthbasketball.com. 

 

Tournament participation rule 6.18  During tournament, every player will get to play. The amount of playing time is determined by the coach. 

 

Prior to each game, we will announce the entire lineup for both teams.  Please check with the scorekeeper and let them know about any player that’s not present.  You may take a second and talk to your players about how to line up. They should line up at about half court, in front of their bench facing the crowd (away from the benches).

 

Be sure to have players entering the game, come to the scorers’ table and check in.

  

Seeding is determined by the order of finish during the regular season.

Tie-breakers will be

1.  Head-to-head winner

2.  Coin toss

 

If a coin toss is required in 2^nd & 3^rdgrade girls and/or boys, it will be held at 8:00, Thursday, Jan 26 at Alamo gym for anyone who wishes to be present.

 

If a coin toss is required in 4^th & 5^thgrade girls and/or boys will be held at 9:00, Thursday, Jan 26 at Alamo gym for anyone who wishes to be present.

 

Brackets should be posted by 10:00 pm Thursday night.  They will be sent to each school board member, as well as, any coach that I have an email address for.

 

 

Highest seed will be the home team and will sit on the bench closest to the boy’s locker rooms

 

Admission is $2

 

There will be a Best Sportsmanship plaque awarded in each age group that will be selected by the referees and table staff.
