The 8th grade boys won 2nd place in the Texas Lone Star Championships going 4-2 along the way. Way to go boys!

The 9th/10th grade Girls won first place playing up in the High School Division in the Lone Star National Championships going 3-2 along the way. The Championship Game against the Jordanaires was a battle as the Shocks rallied back down by 10 points with under 4 minutes to go finally winning by a big basket by Natalie with the game winning layup in the last 11 seconds of the game. Way to go girls!

Posted Jun 28/10 - MAYB Katy Showcase 6/19-6/20/10 HS

This weekend the HS girls competed in the MAYB Katy Showcase June 19-20, 2010.

The 9th and 10th grade girls played in the High School division...They finished in 2nd place with a victory over East Texas Ballers. The girls had two tuff losses during pool play to Hybrid Hoops 23 and Woodlands Ward. Theyd did well during bracket play bouncing back with a win over Hybrid Hoops to advance to the Championship Game. They played well in the first half of that game against Woodland Ward, finaly losing the game after running out of energy in the second half.

It was a great weekend of games...the teams competed and fought hard.

All teams gave excellent effort and worked hard this weekend at the PrimeTime National Championships...July 21-25, 2010 Dallas, TX

The 7th grade girls received 4th place seed in pool play and ended up loosing to IBF-Islanders a 1st seed team in first round of bracket play.

The 9th/10th grade girls did well in pool play finishing in a 3 way tie (3-1)and ended up with the 2nd seed. The girls battled hard in the 1st round of bracket play against H-Town coming from behind by 20 pts to win and advance to the second round...finally loosing to Air Max who went on to the Championship game finishing 2nd place.
