In 2001-2002, Our senior mens football team came out on top and won city championship, and out Junior team had a undeafeted season but lost in the semi-finals. Our Junior Girls basketball team also won city champs. The terry fox run raised a new bowness record, beating the following year by a landslide of $11,386.55 for cancer reaserch.



2003-2004 was a very good year for Bowness High School. Both our senior mens and junior mens football teams moved up to Division 1 in football. Both making the city finals in thier first year in Division 1. Loosing to the Browns of St. Francis. This was also a year to cheer for, in rugby our senior mens team traveled and had the honor to go to New Zealand and learn and play there, with the experience from there they brought it to Calgary and show the Calgary teams what Bowness Rugby really means. Having a undefeated season and winning city championships by a landslide 54 - 5 against the Central Memorial Rams. Our junior rugby team also very strong and winning city champs against the mighty wariors
