| Posted May 30/15 - USA Elite suffers it's third loss! |
The Carolina Rush came to Greensboro with one goal in mind - to come away with their first win of the season. USA Elite felt the same as both teams had two losses under their belt. The Rush and USA Elite fought for the lead for the first two quarters, but headed into halftime with the game tied. The Rush rallied in the 3rd quarter as they extended their lead to 8 points heading into the 4th quarter. Unfortunately, time ran out on USA Elite as the Rush captured their first win 72-64. |

After getting off to an extremely slow start in the first quarter, USA Elite gradually began to chip away at the Warcats' large lead. USA Elite regained their composure and outscored the Warcats in both the 2nd and 3rd quarters. Unfortunately, USA Elite ran out of steam in the 4th quarter, could not overcome the initial deficit and lost 73-55. Hats off to both teams for a competitive game! |

The tryouts recently held by USA Elite were a success. Numerous players have come to showcase their skills for the sake of the coaching staff. We are looking forward to getting the season started with a group of players who are committed to the program. After losing the first 2 games of the season, USA Elite bounced back to win 3 games in a row. The team was on track to win its fourth, having led the Winston-Salem Lady Warcats by 10 points at halftime. The Lady Warcats would not give up as they made up the 10-point deficit in the third quarter to tie the game going into the fourth quarter. Unfortunately, USA Elite was outscored by 7 and committed a series of costly mistakes in the last period preventing the victory. Kudos to the Lady Warcats on their win. |
