WACO, Texas-- Senior post Nneka Enemkpali and sophomore guard Taliyah Brooks combined for 31 points to pace No. 11 state-ranked Pflugerville to a 64-24 win over Waco Robinson Friday night.
Enemkpali had a game-high 16 points with seven rebounds and two blocks, while Brooks added 15. Junior forward Itiana Taylor finished with 11 points and pulled down a game-high nine rebounds.
The win moves Pflugerville to 8-2.
The Panthers jumped out to a 23-7 lead after the first quarter and extended that lead to 35-10 at intermission.
Joining Enemkpali, Brooks and Taylor as top performers in the balanced team effort were senior forward Adesuwa Ebomwonyi (eight points, four rebounds, game-high five steals) and senior forward Shoniece Yett (seven points, four rebounds).
Pflugerville returns to action on Tuesday, Dec. 7 when it opens District 16-5A play by hosting Stony Point in a 7:30 p.m. game at P'ville Panther Gym.
