The RDFL plays two seasons the league will play a Spring and Fall season with Spring playing April through June followed by the Fall season which starts late July through October ending with the 21u showcase.

The RDFL will kickoff April 2,2016 the junior tier 1 level league will play 10 regular season games and possibly two international games and is restricted to players age 21u but will carry exempt players up to age 22 .
