they won 6-2. score was 0-0 in the 5th, rocket pitcher dan bollenbacher had a perfect
game, 12 up 12 down, but they nicked him for 2 runs, and closed with a 6-2
win. First nite game of the season and a
very nice crowd on hand.
This made possible only thru the efforts of franklin
electric and our Portland

lift truck to install the replacement lights at runkle-miller field. Thanks
greg franklin and ryan myers.

minch minded the rocket lunching pad and billy was a kid
Ben smith a rocket player a few years ago from maria stein
was in the house.
Ben is now in the us airforce a crew chief on the combat
search and rescue team.
Their job if a craft is downed, go rescue the planes pilot
and crew.
Ben just back from turkey, when asked what he likes about
his job,
Going up on the mountain and watching us bomb the bleep out
of them, pounding them every nite, he
was quite graphic,
Wow,
Rockets set off some bombs this weekend , win 4 of 5 and now
record is 6-2
This unique group of men, becoming a team is a great thing
