| Down a goal only 70 seconds into the match, it took a water break wake up call for the girls to find their stride and overtake Texans Aggieland 2-1 at blustery Zube Park on Sunday. The Dynamos pulled even late in the 1st half after Allyson Howard won a ball at midfield and played it forward to Ashton Allison who found the back of the net. The game winner was set up by Mallory Cardner's through ball that Ashton crossed to a charging Lauren Lathrop who beat the keeper for the final 2-1 score. Great team defense prevailed through the final 15 minutes to hold off a pressing Texans team. |
