| Head coach Nancy Walling's state-ranked Panthers hit the road for the second time in as many games on Friday, Nov. 12, traveling to San Antonio to face Converse Judson. The varsity, 1-0 on the season, squares off against Judson at 7:30 p.m., with the junior varsity squads meeting in the earlier game at 6 p.m.; both these games take place in the Judson Red Campus gym. Judson stands 0-1, having lost to San Antonio Reagan earlier this week. At another site, the Judson Gray Campus gym, the Pflugerville freshmen squads square off against their Judson counterparts, with the freshman "gold" (A) team playing at 5 p.m. and the freshman "blue" (B) in a 6:15 p.m. contest. Pflugerville opened the 2009-10 season at Harker Heights on Nov. 10, with all three competing Panther teams picking up wins. The varsity beat the HH Knights, 58-53, and the junior varsity (59-39) and freshman "A" (63-19) also won. There was no freshman "B" game. Last year, Pflugerville and Converse Judson met in the 2009 UIL State 5A Area playoffs, with PHS registering a 61-52 victory over Judson to move into Regional quarterfinal play en route to their impressive State Tournament Final Four showing and a 32-6 final record. The game, played at Hays High School in Buda, Texas, saw Pflugerville then-sophomore post Nneka Enemkpali collect a double-double with game-highs of 23 points and 15 rebounds.
