Bay High 27, Poplarville 9: Brennan Dunklin scored three touchdowns as the Tigers (3-2, 1-0) won their Region 8-4A opener at Poplarville.

Dunklin opened the scoring on a 60-yard run but Poplarville got a safety before halftime.

Rory Island added a 52-yard run for a 13-2 lead and after the Hornets (0-5, 0-1) shaved the lead to 13-9, Dunklin answered with a 8-yard run. He finished the night on a 11-yard TD run.
