Bulldogs Football

 

7 White

 

The 7th grade white team played their last game of the season. The Bulldogs beat undefeated Wisconsin Lutheran 6-0. The Bulldogs defense kept the high powered Knights offense in check all game. Jack Geels threw a 25 yard pass to Sam Matthieson to set up a 1 yard touchdown run by Joe Corrao with two minutes in the game. The offense was led by Jack Geels who had 50 yards passing. Tyler Davis had 36 yards rushing and Joe Carrao had 18 yards rushing. Sam Matthieson had 50 yards receiving. The Bulldog defense forced 4 fumbles. Andrew Ullmann had 2 fumble recoveries, Alex Max and Tyler Davis each had 1 fumble recovery. The victory was an entire team victory. Coach Krenek was quoted as saying "the game was one of the best games he has ever been apart of."  Great season Bulldogs.

 

7 Blue

 

The 7th Grade Blue Football team finished their season by defeating the Kettle Moraine Jr Lasers.  The Bulldogs dominated all four quarters and won 25-12.  The offensive line blocked well all game.  Alex Schultz scored 3 touchdowns while Ryan Hernandez found the end zone for the first time this season.  Thomas Van Dyke led the rushing attack.  Bennett Gilsinger added an extra point conversion on a pass from Michael Barnes.  

 

The defense was led by Schultz and Ben Kinowski.  Schultz caused two fumbles, one recovered by Eric Thompson and one recovered by David Koepke.  Barnes also had an interception.  Jordan Pintor had a quarterback sack.  Great Season Bulldogs!!

 

8 White

 

On Saturday, October 17th 2009, the Bulldogs won their fifth straight game by outscoring Wisconsin Lutheran 34-6.  This victory brings the team’s season record to 5-1.  Offensively, Andy Dauer, Drew Patterson, and Gino Senymanola all scored rushing touchdowns while Dan Lunowa connected with Austin Mitzel for a passing touchdown.  Defensively, Drew Patterson led the team with 8.5 tackles and Alec McShane returned an interception for a touchdown.  Additional defensive contributions came from Garrett Minor (5.5 tackles), Shane Powell (4.5 tackles & 1 sack), Dan Lunowa (1.5 tackles & 1 Int.), and Austin Mitzel (1 tackle & 1 sack).  This game was the Bulldogs most complete game of the year. 

 

8 Blue

It was the tale of two halves for the TMS Blue Bulldogs as they lost the season finally 20-3 to Kettle Moraine. The Bulldogs controlled the clock for just about the entire first half. Following a force fumble the Bulldog offense drove nearly the entire length of the field. It was capped off by a 35 yard field goal from Tom Diehl. Brady Ellingson paced the offense through the air by completing six passes on twelve attempts. John Phillips led the ground attack with 30 yards of his own.

 

In the second half the Bulldog D was trying to stymie the Laser attack through out the half. Tom Diehl and Tyler Surma forced a couple fumbles giving the offense opportunities. It was a total team effort but leading the defense in tackling was Adam Jost with 9 tackles followed by Brett Buehler and Surma with 6. Michael Liebham chipped with 5 of his own.  With the loss the Bulldogs dropped to 5-2 to finish the season.
