New Teams Join SRHL!

Two new team have joined the SRHL for it's second week of hockey. Both teams will be looking to get off to good starts to start their inaugeral games. Two other teams are rumored to be joining also, but no roster has been submitted for them as of yet.

Carrick Brings Hope to Devils Squad

Brandon Carrick skated Saturday day afternoon joining Graham Cronk, Nick White and Lance Doucet in an optional practice. Carrick brought not dissapointments to the rink as he dangled through the both MudBug and Silver Back players. The newest member even took time to show he could be an option as a back-up goaltender for the Devils.

No Trades Going To Happen

The media talked to GM and captain Roman White of the West-Shore Mudbugs and we asked him about the trade of Matt Sheeran For F Graham Cronk and he had these words to say, " the Silverbacks GM is nuts we are not going to trade our top scorer for some bum it's just not going to happen" strong words from the GM so it looks like the suspended goalie is staying with the Silverbacks for now.

Sheeran promises Championship

When we were talking to the coaching staff suspended goalie Matt Sheeran found out about the trade and got really upset and promised the Silverbacks a championship these are the words that he said. " give me one last chance, i promise we will win a championship".. these were the words from a heart broken Matt Sheeran

 

                            

Carrick Joins Devils!

The Langford Devils have signed over age player Brandon Carrick. The team hopes to get Carrick into the line-up for Saturday's games. The Devils are 0-4 after Thursday's action.

Carrick had these comments:"I will DESTROY YOU ALL.... you might wanna bring tissue for your tears... and maybe on your way stop by Wal-Mart or, Canadian Tire or something to pick up some hockey skills!!"

 

 

Silver Backs Goalie Suspended!

Silverbacks goaltender Matt Sheeran is suspended for a week starting Saturday. Sheeran walked down to the opposing end of the rink and brutally attacked fellow goaltender Lance Doucet. Teammate of Matt Sheeran, Logan White felt that Sheeran should be suspended untill the end of the season or possibly untill the all-star break.
