Welcome to the Shot Rocks New Home Page.

The Kingston Shot Rocks Curl out of the Garrison Golf and Curling Club located on CFB Kingston they are a group of Specail Olyimpans who Curl on Sundays from 12:30pm to 3:00pm from Mid October to Mid March.

The Shot Rocks where formed in 2000-2001 and are now in thier seven season in the season past the teams have won several regional Championships (2001-02,2003-04,2005-07), Won Bronze as a team at the 2003 Provincal games in Barrie, in 2007 two teams qulified for the Provencal games in Owen Sound it was a first for the Specail Olyimpics to have two teams from the same rink repersent Ontario at the Provincal level the the B team finshed 1st in their division getting the gold while the scond team which I was on finshed second in thier divison. At the end of the 2007 season it was anounced that both teams would ne going to Quebece City as part of team Ontario to participate in the National games in Quebece which was celebrating thier 400th Anivesary.  The two teams did well and finished 4th and 1st in thier divisions for some who won gold it was thier first ever gold in the specail olyimpics at the national level.

The 2008/09 season will be starting in Mid October and we will be training hard we welcome new players and they are always welcomed to join we have great coaches and our Head Coach Bill McKormick, Players and Parents and Caregivers work really hard each season so we are looking for to the 2008/09 Season

Well the start of the 2008/09 Curling season has begun for the shot rocks this is going to be rebuilding year for the shot rocks we have two new players with us this year as well to find out our scedual for the 2008/09 season click on calender
