Falcons Improving Steadily

After another week of changes and learning about new positions, the Falcons set their course south to visit Mortlach this past Tuesday. With the changing of positions between the older Aitken brothers, the Falcons battled hard in the friendly confines of the Mortlach gym. Alternating wins in the 4 set match, the Falcons "lost" the split on points for and against.
Overall, the team defense was impressive, having worked on the defensive systerm for only one full practice. You could definately tell that the boys have realized that it takes strong defense to win this year. Next up,the Beechy Blazers tournament, this weekend. Next league play is next Tuesday when Craik visits.
