As per the coaches of the VV Midget A1 hockey team, the following rules apply to the team for the 2009-2010 hockey season:

No cell phones are permitted in the dressing room.

Drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited before, during, and after practices & games.

If you will miss a game or practice, inform Coach Scott by text message 232-4843 and Cindy by phone call or text message 223-4388 or e-mail cindymhoulahan@yahoo.ca.

Players must arrive at the arena a minimum of 40 minutes before the scheduled start of a game, and be ready to go on the ice 15 minutes before the scheduled start of a game.

Players will be allowed music in the dressing room.

Every player must have his own water bottle & towels.

Players will be responsible for their own jerseys.
Jerseys must be clean for every game.
The team gives VVCC a jersey deposit of $300 which is refunded at the end of the season when the jerseys are returned.
Any player who loses one or both jerseys will be responsible for the cost.

There will be no horseplay in the dressing room.  This rule will be strictly enforced.

Captains will be responsible for the condition of the dressing room.
The captains may delegate clean-up to other players.

Playing time will be effected by attendance and effort on the ice during games & practices.

The above rules are subject to change.
As the season progresses, rules may be added or modified to suit the needs of the team.

The players have voted to purchase a stereo to provide music in the dressing room, the cost will be about $10 per player & it will be raffled off at the end of the season.  We will not be collecting additional money for this expense, it will be covered by money already in the budget.
