| Game Notes: What a great way to kick the season off, it was only a scrimage but very exciting to see everyone smiling and playing hard. We got to see some live pitching and showed that we can hit it if they throw it close, and if they don't we'll just take a walk. As a team we we're 13-20 with 14 walks, that's 27 of 34 batters reaching base, and we were able to score a wopping 18 of them. Not bad production guys. Multi-hit game from Johnny-B 3-4, Jake M 3-4, and Dustin C 2-2 1BB, and Brett B 2-2, Honorable mention Kyle S 4BB's. We also got to see some new pitchers and were pleasantly surprised by the start that Bryson Fulmer gave us, as well as the 3 pitch strike out by Kyle Smiley. I don't expect future games to be so easy, so come ready to play hard every game and take nothing for granted. | ||||||||
