Notes:
The Pembroke High JV team lost its second consecutive game, dropping to Scituate, 6-3. Scituate broke away in the 6th inning scoring 4 runs on two Pembroke miscues in the field, as well as 3 hits. 2 of the runs in the inning were unearned.
Mike Sjolin was the starter on the mound for the Titans. He pitched 6 innings, allowed 6 hits, struck out 4 and walked 1. Justin Pugliesi closed out the 7th inning to get some work in.
The Pembroke offense was silent once again. Despite spraying 8 hits, the titans had a difficult time hitting when runners were in scoring postion, stranding 7 baserunners.
Sjolin had a good day at the plate going 3-4 with 2 runs scored. Rob Rozzi and Conner Winn had two hits a piece and Sean Gilliand smashed a triple. Gilliand hit the ball hard all day, but had only one hit to show for it.
Ryan Martin and Brian Gentile couldn't make the game today so the Titans were undermaned. They be at full strength when they face Randolph on Wednesday.
