Game Notes: Eric Bould did his best to will Suns to a win with a four-hit game, but Suns dropped a 13-7 contest to Greendale Varsity on Saturday at Regner Park.

Bould got a hit in each of his four at bats. He singled in the first, third, and fifth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

Greendale Varsity couldn't get anything going as long as Jake Perez was on the mound. Perez held Greendale Varsity hitless over three innings, allowed no earned runs, walked five and struck out seven.

Zach Henderson, Ty Ramirer and Joe Grabowski helped lead Greendale Varsity. They combined for seven hits and nine RBIs.

The bottom of the first saw Suns take an early lead, 2-0. A single by Bould, scoring Matt Schubert started the inning off. Suns then tacked on more runs when Perez scored on an error.

Suns scored two runs in the third inning, and then followed it up with two more in the sixth. In the third, Suns scored on a two-run single by Ian Loveland, bringing home Zach Biermann and Bould.

Greendale Varsity went up for good in the fourth, scoring five runs on a double by Henderson and a walk by Mitchell Brees.

Greendale Varsity built upon its lead with two runs in the fifth. Henderson kicked things off with a single, bringing home Guender. That was followed up by Ramirer's double, plating Justin Povlick.

One run in the bottom of the fifth helped Suns close its deficit to 7-5. A groundout by Nick Reimer fueled Suns' comeback. Finally, Povlick got Luke Grefsheim to ground out to end the threat.

Greendale Varsity tacked on another six runs in the sixth. Grabowski kicked things off with a double, bringing home Sam Sabinash, Guender and Schuffman.
