Notes:
The East Suns Freshman scattered six hits on Tuesday, but weren't able to push enough runs across, and lost 10-4 to Whitefish Bay at River Road.
Andrew Steiner was hot from the plate for the Suns. Andrew went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning.
#42 got it done on the mound on the way to a win. He allowed four runs over six innings. #42 struck out three, walked two and gave up six hits.
Whitefish Bay never trailed after scoring four runs in the first on a groundout by #15 and three singles.
Whitefish Bay added three more runs in the top of the fourth. #5 kicked things off with a single, bringing home #13 and #4.
Three East Suns Freshman runs crossed the plate in the bottom half of the fourth, making the score 7-3. An RBI single by Andrew, a groundout by Jake Baumann, and an error sparked the East Suns rally. Finally, #42 got Brandon Parkison to fly out to end the threat.
One run in the bottom of the fifth helped East Suns Freshman close its deficit to 9-4. An RBI double by Spencer Rittmann set off the East Suns Freshman rally. Finally, #42 induced an inning-ending ground out from Nate Farrington.
