Stark & Anderson (7) Eastview won their fourth consecutive game by coming back and defeating Hudson 9-4. Down 1 after 6 the Lightning had their first 4 guys reach base and they took advantage of 2 Hudson errors by scoring 6 runs in the last frame. The comeback gave Stark (6 H, 3 K, 1 ER) his 2nd win on the year who pitched very well on the mound. The offense was led by Vossen (2b, 3 bb, 2 rbi). The 8-9 hitters for the Lightning were 4-6 with 2 rbi. Eastview continues pool play tomorrow against Robbinsdale at 1125. They will send Higgins (1-1, 3.20) to the mound looking for their fifth straight win. Stark (W, 2-0) |
