THE BEARS WERE NOT DISTRACTED BY STRIPPERS, AND HANG ON TO BEAT SCORES LAS VEGAS 11-9: In the 4th and Final Interleague Game of the Summer/Fall Season The Bears took on Scores Las Vegas (5-1),A National Division Title Contender. The Bears Scored 11 Runs in the 1st 4 Innings, and Seemed to be in Cruise Control, until Scores Roughed Bears Reliever Thomas Taylor for 6 Runs on 6 Hits in the 8th to make the game close. Closer Scott Karstedt came in and Slammed the Door on Scores Striking Out 2 and Picking Up His 1st Save of the Season. Mike Perry Started the Game on the Mound, and was Outstanding, He was Followed by Mo Molina, Who Picked Up the Win, and was also Solid. On the Offensive Side-The Bats were Red Hot Lead by Scott Karstedt who had 2 Hits, 2 Runs Scored and 3 RBI's on a Towering Home Run just to the Left of Centerfield, Ed King also Drove in 3 Runs with a Single and a Double, Kevin Hughes also collected 2 Hits and 2 RBI's on a Single and a Double. Jeff Leach Had a Hit, 2 Runs Scored, and Played Great Defense at Third Base. |
