Notes:
The Renegades win their GGBL opener with an 11-8 victory over Collins Hill. Lucas started, going three innings an picking up the win. Austin followed with 2 strong innings, with Nick and Steven closing it out in the sixth. Steven had a big day at the plate, continuing his hot hitting with 3 singles and 2 RBI. However, Clint set the tone in the game with a towering 3-run HR in the first to tie the game. Austin L added a screaming line-drive 2-run HR in the fifth, along with a single. Austin S had 2 hits, Lucas had a single, sacrifice fly and 2 RBI, while Nick and Zach tallied singles. Big day on the basepaths. Clint gunned down another runner attempting to steal, Zack putting the tag on the sliding runner. Steven & Zach both had stolen bases, and Lucas added a couple of swipes. |
