Game Notes: Big win against a strong Tigers team! We played great team defense and drove in the runs when we needed them!

Leading off was Eli, he had another fantastic day batting and playing the field. When he gets on base he scores! Riley was perfect at 2nd base with a couple of putouts and he fired a few shots off at the plate! Ben was perfect batting and in the field, he drove in 2 runs and scored! Carson swung the bat like an all-star and played the field like a stud! Leighton anchored 1st base with perfect glove work and looked sharp at the plate! R.J. broke the game open for us with a triple to lead off the 3rd inning and had some nice fielding at pitcher! Jason came up next and put a shot down that scored R.J. to start our rally! He also had a double play with 3 putouts! He gets the Game Ball! Keep up the good work Jason! Garret fired a shot to keep the rally going and played the field like a major leaguer! Brandon had an awesome catch in the outfield and almost gunned down the runner at 3rd base! Wow that was a close play! And he looked sharp at the plate! Baylor was a stallion at 3rd base and smoked a hot shot at the plate and scored a run! Chandler hit a rope at the plate and as always, anchored down catcher! Spencer was sharp at shortstop with several amazing catches and putouts and went 2 for 2 at the plate hitting a triple and driving in a run! Last but not least, Big Jake came to the park ready to play! He went yard on a pitch and drove it clear over the fence driving in 2 runs. He’s seeing the ball really good and driving it over the fence! Keep it up Jake!



Overall, we had a good game, we had another slow start, but the middle and bottom of our lineup won the game for use with some key hitting. For the first game we did well. We still need to work on our base running, but that comes with experience and game time. So, lets keep it going for Wednesday against the Astros!
