Game Notes: Hey Braves!

Heartbreaking loss against the Dodgers, we probably should have won that game, but they had some good hitting and scored the runs.

Eli had another awesome game leading off for us with a couple of hard hits and was sharp in the field! Ben is a stud at the plate! He has a cannon of a bat and smoked 2 hard hits and scored a run! Spencer started off slow at the plate with a single in the 1st inning, but made up for it with a monster 2 run jack over the center field fence and had several putouts in the field at short and second! Garret was sharp in the field and at the plate with some major league at bats! Leighton came up HUGE for us with a 3 RBI triple in the first that broke the game open and was perfect at 1st base! Baylor had a great night at the plate with an RBI hit and solid glove work in the field! Jake was impressive at the plate with hard shot in the 4th and scored a run! Jason was tough at the plate with some great base running and solid fielding! Brandon was the stud of the game, he fired off a rope to left field that scored a run that tied the game in the 4th and was perfect at catcher! He’s really coming around as a baseball player and he gets the Game Ball! Why to go Brandon! Keep up the good work! R.J. was perfect at the plate with another 2 for 2 batting and played the field like a all-star! Chandler is Mr. Dependable at the plate! When we need a key hit to keep an inning alive or start off a big rally Chandler always comes through for us! Tonight was no different with another monster hit and scored a run! Carson laid some serious wood on the ball while batting and anchored our outfield with some great plays!

Overall, with Riley on the DL for a few games (hope your feeling better Riley!) we’re going to be moving several players around trying to find that special chemistry that it’ll work for us to make the outs. This game was rough, but that’s what happens sometimes. We had an awesome night hitting the ball; I think everyone made good contact at the plate. We will continue to work on our defense and base running. I don’t know if we’ll play on Saturday due to the forecast of rain all day, check out the league website for the latest on cancellations or reschedules.

Shake off the loss and lets get ready to play the Yankees on Saturday!

Go Braves!
