The Offense was Lead by Shortstop Drew Zoulko Who Had 3 Hits (Including 2 Doubles), Scored 5 Runs, Drove in 2 Runs, and Stole 3 of the Bears Team Record 10 Bases, Catcher Ed King Remained Red-Hot Collecting 3 Hits, and Driving In 3 Runs.
1st Baseman Scott Karstedt had an Outstanding Overal Game With 2 Hits, 2 Runs, and 4 RBI's. Centerfielder Kevin Hughes Contributed 2 Hits, 2 RBI's, Scored 3 Runs, and Stole 4 Bases.
On the Mound Starter Chris Heiman was Sharp early, Holding the Always Potent Sandviper Offense to 2 Earned Runs through 5+ Innings while Striking Out 6, and Walking only 1. ROOKIE of THE YEAR Candidate Mike McCarty Finished the Game By Striking out 3, and Allowing 1 Unearned Run on 3 Hits in 2 2/3 innings of work.
