Game Notes: Hello Braves Fans!
Another close game with the Yankees! We hung tough all game, but they had a big rally in the 3rd inning to make the difference in the game, and came away with a 7 to 8 win.

Leading off was Riley who had 2 solid hits and was a stud in the infield! Eli had another red hot game at the plate with a couple of shots and was perfect in the field with some great defensive plays! Big Ben was perfect at the plate and is a threat to hit the long ball anytime he’s up. Today was no different with 2 line shots while batting, he also scored a run and was amazing at pitcher and third with some nice catches! Spencer had an RBI sac fly and a double, made a double play and almost had another! Garret had a great game at pitcher with a putout and swung the bat like a major leaguer! Baylor continues his terror at the plate with 2 more rockets, the last one was a RBI shot, he scored a run and was perfect at 2nd base! Keep up the good work Baylor! Jason was solid in the field and looked sharp at the plate with some all-star cuts while at bat. Leighton was a stud at 1st base, he had several hard catches for outs and was perfect at bat with 2 hard hits that drove in runs! He gets the game ball! Leighton has made progress in very game and has made himself one of the best first basemen in the league! He gets the game ball! Way to go Leighton! Keep up the AMAZING work! R.J. was again perfect at the plate with a monster hit with an RBI and was a stud in the field with some great plays! Chandler came to the park ready to play again with a solid game at second base and a big league at bat! Carson anchors right field with some great backup plays at first and swung the bat like Chipper Jones! Brandon is our starting catcher and he didn’t disappoint, with some great stops and a solid at bat! Big Bad Jake was on fire at the plate with a spectacular double and a 3 run bomb over the wall in left field to keep us in the game. He’s leading the league in home runs now!

Overall, that was our best defensive game of the season. We had the hard hitting Yankees down to just 3 runs in the first 2 inning! We actually got their top of the lineup down 1-2-3 in the first! The Yankees are one of the top teams in the league and their going to have a big inning or 2, the third inning was rough for us, but we made up for it with some hard hits to score runs! This by far was a good game for us, the kids were excited in the dugout and in the field and we almost pulled that one out. We got the Rangers on Tuesday night at 6pm. Lets get ready for another great game!
