Game Notes: Hey Braves Fans!

Great game against the Rangers! We fought back in the 3rd inning with clutch hitting and great defense and came away with a tie! The Rangers are one of the top teams in the league and we stayed with them all game! Way to go Braves!

Baylor led off for us tonight and put 2 hard shots into the outfield! He was robbed at second base in the first inning but made up for it with another double in the third for an RBI! Riley was sharp all game in the field and at the plate with an RBI hit in the 3rd inning! Eli was perfect again at the plate going 2 for 2 and making an amazing tag out in the field! He gets the game ball! Eli always comes to the games ready to play and is one of our clutch hitters, either leading off or driving in runs while batting deeper in the order, the kid just produces. Way to go Eli! Spencer was fire at the plate with 2 hard line drive shots to center field and drove in 2 RBI’s! He also made a couple of solid plays in the field too! Brandon had another outstanding game with 2 hits and played the field like a stud! Big Ben is quickly becoming one of the most dangerous hitters in our league. When we need a big hit Ben comes to the plate and delivers. He went 2 for 2 with and RBI in the third to tie the game! Big Jake was solid at the plate all night and anchored the outfield with some great plays! Garret had a great at bat and played tough in the field! Leighton had another awesome night at 1st base and backed it up with a monster hit in the 2nd inning! Carson is another player who is getting better every game. He’s laying some serious wood on the ball at the plate and is always playing heads up ball in the field. R.J. is just a natural hitter. He came up to the plate today and fired a rocket to the fence and scored a run to start off a great 3rd inning for us! Jason came to the park but didn’t feel well so he couldn’t play; we missed his bat tonight and hope he gets well soon.

In conclusion, we had an AWESOME game, we played hard and came away with a tie, and we were just one hit short of pulling out the victory! We’ll take the tie and get ready for the Cardinals on Saturday! Our defense is finally coming around and we’re still hitting the ball hard. Keep up the good work Braves, I think we’re starting to get hot at the right time, at the start of the tournament!

GO BRAVES!
