Devine, Edsten (2) & Dickson (6) Eastview made their second consecutive Semifinal appearance in as many weekends as they faced off against Pool B's winner Hopkins. Hopkins edged the Lightning by a run to advance to the Championship Game for the second time this season. They had already won their tournament in Fridley. Eastview made 5 errors which led to the final 3 runs being unearned. The bullpen pithced 5 1/3 innings and gave up only 4 baserunners with 0 earned. The offense was led by Allen (1 r) & Velin (rbi), the only players to reach base more than once. The Lightning square off against league rival Burnsville White in the 3rd Place Game. Burnsville has taken the last two outings in the past two weeks 3-2 and 4-1. Edsten (L, 0-1) |
