Notes:
Granat, Voss (3), Reller (4), & Metz (5) Eastview closed out pool play Saturday by going 1-1, winning their first game against host Woodbury Blue 8-7 and coming back to lose to Hudson 12-7. Eastview qualified for the quarterfinal round after defeating Woodbury in the morning game and will be playing tomorrow against host Woodbury again .... but this time it will be Woodbury Black. Black went 2-1 in their pool and had the least runs allowed of any defeated teams in the tournament so they earned the 3 seed while Eastview received the 6 seed. Brady Kelley is expected to take the ball for the Lightning as they try and get past the quarterfinal round in their first tournament of the summer. Granat (L, 1-1) |
