Game
Notes:
Vancouver Mounties made one extra comeback to beat the Kelowna Cubs 11-8 in ten innings, in a game marked with great battles on both sides. The Cubs jumped out into a 3-1 lead after four innings, but Vancouver fought back to take a 4-3 lead into the seventh. In their last at bat, Cody Valgardson's single scored brother Jordan to tie it up and force extra innings. The eighth inning was scoreless, but in the top of nine, two walks and three hits gave the Mounties four runs and a seemingly safe lead. But the Mountie pitchers lost the strike zone as well, and the Cubs roared back with four of their own to tie. In the top of the tenth, Vancouver pounded out two doubles and two single for three more runs, and the Cubs couldn't match that, as Jordan Dusanj shut them down for the win. Jordan Neufeld took the loss in relief for Kelowna. Cam Kryzanowski had a triple and two singles to lead the Kelowna offense, with Cody Valgardson and Ryan Franz chipping in two singles each. For Vancouver, David Naradowski, Eli Erickson and Jordan Dusanj had three hits each.
