| Game Notes: The Thunder (6-0, 2-0) won its division home opener over Rosemount, 13-3 in five innings. It was Eastview's sixth straight win to open the season, the best start in club history. Starter Joey Voss (2-0) went the route, giving up just five hits and no earned runs. He struck out three and walked one in five innings of work. The offense had its fifth game of double-figure run output, putting up crooked numbers in four of five frames. Matt Lilledahl (SB, 2RS) continued his torrid hitting with a 3-for-3 day at the plate and drove in three. Brian Rush (2RS) also had three hits and knocked in a pair. Joel Bertelsen, Matt DeCovich and Kellen Kersten all had two hits apiece. Sam Foy, Peter Zukanoff, and Michale Radermacher added safeties and Lucas Haug, playing through an illness, scored a run. Voss had his first career hit in a Thunder uniform to help his own cause. The club has the weekend off before returning to action Monday night with a doubleheader against crosstown rival Apple Valley. | ||||||||||
