The Thunder dropped their season finale at Burnsville, 13-9. The Thunder rallied from a 4-1 deficit in the fifth, scoring seven runs on six hits to take a short-lived 8-4 lead. Burnsville came back to score five in the bottom half and four more in the sixth to go up 13-8. The Thunder rallied again in the seventh, scoring once and bringing the tying run to the plate, but the rally ended in the club's fourth-straight loss. The team committed a season-high seven errors, which led to four unearned runs. Beau Jacobson started his first game of the season on the mound and pitched three scoreless innings before being relieved in the fourth by Brad "B-Train" Landgrebe. Beau Jacobson (2B) also had three RBI. Alex Johnson (2RS), Jared Johnson (2RS, BB), Chad Eul, Andy Cutter (2B), and Keegan Jindra all had two hits apiece, with Cutter driving in three and Eul two. Josh "Future" Retka reached three times and scored once. Despite the loss, the Thunder (8-4; 12-9 overall) qualified for the District Tournament and awaits its seeding.
