| Game Notes: Tough loss against a strong Nationals team. We almost pulled it out in the 4th. We played through our mistakes and played some great ball when it counted. Everyone hit the ball good again! We ran the bases like strong and scored the runs when we needed to. Corbin looked great at the plate, and Brenna had 2 hits that kept the drives alive, she gets the game ball! Savion had a great catch at 3rd and Justin looked good again at first and at the plate! Joey had a strong at bat and looked great in the field. Cameron had a few strong at bats and drove in some much needed runs. Zach caught a good game behind the plate and looked strong at the plate too. Austin played a strong shortstop and swung a mean bat. Everyone looked great for this early in the season. Baserunning was alot better than Friday night. We need to keep building on these games and keep getting better. We're looking great, so shake off the lose and lets get ready for Friday against the Athletics! | |||||||
