Notes:
The Bulldogs broke-out offensively with a 20 hit performance in a 14-3 regional win @ Apache Junction. Austin Carnes picked up the win for the Dogs by throwing 4 strong innings. Aaron McRae was perfect on the day with 4 hits in as many attempts. He also recorded 4 runs and 4 rbi, as well as 3 stolen bases. Dominic Gamboa and Jr. Lemalu each had 3 hits, while Lemalu went yard and knocked in 3 runs. Vinnie Guerrero and Heath Nichols added 2 hits apiece and Jesse Hanna knocked in 2 runs. The Bulldogs will face their rival, Higley High, next Tuesday @ 4:00 @ Queen Creek High. |
