| Game Notes: Brian Stebbings single in the bottom of the tenth inning scored Matt Carasco from second, and gave the White Rock Tritons an 11-10 win in South Surrey Park on Sunday. Both teams began the game exchanging a lot of hits and runs, but it settled into a pitcher's duel in the late innings, till the Cubs battled back to tie the game at ten in the top of the seventh. Brandon Kaufman threw six innings of excellent relief, then Cody Valgardson mopped up in the final two innings, taking the loss. Kelowna's bats struck for seventeen hits. Leading the Cubs were Bjorn Pohland and Jamie Newmarch with three singles each, and Brett Sanguin, Tristan Collins, Jordan Cheveldave and Jordan Valgardson with a pair each. | |||||||||||||
