Notes:
Sikich The Lightning (12-13, 6-6) won their second game in their last nine. Eastview got down early but came back to take the lead in the 4th thanks to a Schul RBI single and Edsten suicide squeeze. The Lightning scored two more in the 6th to take a 5-2 lead. After Rochester came back with another run, the Lightning got a 2 out 2-run HR by Woods to put the game away. Sikich (3 ER, 3 K, 1 BB) went the distance for the win. It was the first CG for an Eastview pitcher on the year. The offense was led by Stark (2b, sb), Woods (2 bb, 2 sb, 3 r), & Schul (bb, rbi) all reaching base multiple times. The Lightning have a few days off before facing Inver Grove on Friday. Eastview will send Woods (2-1, 3.13) to the bump in hopes of winning a second consecutive game. Sikich (W, 2-1) |
