Buck, Frojd (2), Smith (2), Herro (4), Ronhovde (4) & Perlenfein (4) Eastview (18-11-1) lost an ugly one 15-1 to Prior Lake Gold. With the loss, Eastview has been locked into 3rd place in the region. The 14-run deficit is the Lightning's worst on the sesaon. They came out flat from the start and didn't get any help from the usually strong pitching staff. Everybody struggled to find the strike zone and when they did, they left it over the middle of the plate for a Laker to drive. Ryder Ronhovde had the only RBI on the night to go along with a single and a stolen base. The Lightning close out league play against district rival Eagan Blue. This will be their third meeting on the season with the first one being a 1-1 tie and the last one a 14-2 Eastview victory. The Lightning hope to continue their roll on the Wildcats next Wednesday under the lights at Quarry Point! Buck (L, 2-3) |
