| Game Notes: A very well played game by both teams. The edge going to Layton Storie who pitched a fine game spreading five hits over the seven innings and oly walking two batters. Early control problems by starter Jordan Neufeld allowing the two runs in the first two innings. Jordan did mange to keep it close as he left six runners on base in three innings. Dan Novakowski shut out parksville for the final four innings, but the Cubs could not get any offense going to suport him.Carter Bell had a single and a double for two of the four Royals hits. Spencer Kilpatrick had two of the Cubs five hits. | ||||||||||
