| Game Notes: The Thunder bats were mostly silent in a close game vs. a solid Centennial squad. Stu Daly turned in a web gem with a diving and sliding catch in the OF to rob a hit and keep a runner from scoring in the first inning. The team's defense was extremely solid and we committed only one error on a night where the field conditions were marginal. Sam Higgins, "CC" Cropsey and Alec "Crazy Legs" Knop allowed only 6 hits combined and put their team in a position to win the game. Ultimately though, execution at the dish and on the basepaths erased 4 baserunners from potentially scoring and securing the win for the team. | ||||||||||
