Perlenfein & Smith (7) Eastview (3-3) moved back to .500 on the season with their second consecutive loss, this one in league play to Bloomington. The Lightning received a great pitching performance with a season-low 2 walks on the game from their staff but their defense continued to struggle with 8 errors. After taking a 2-1 lead, Bloomington but 5 in a row on the board. With the loss, Eastview fell to 1-2 in league play with a HUGE week upcoming. They face the current top 3 teams in the league: Minneapolis (5-0), Burnsville (2-1) & Prior Lake (3-1). Matt Smith (1-0, 1.00) will get the ball for Sunday's matinee game against the league-leading Millers as the Lightning try and find their winning ways again. Perlenfein (L, 2-1) |
