| Game Notes: Langley Blaze swept the doubleheader Sunday by beating the Kelowna Cubs 11-0 in game two. Lefthander Jon Hesketh showed why he pitches for Canada's National Junior team, allowing only a double by Jordan Cheveldave and a single by Spencer Kilpatrick, while striking out eleven Cubs in six innings. Tristan Collins pitched well for the Cubs, who again let their pitcher down with too many infield errors. Five runs in the seventh made an otherwise pretty close game look like a blowout. | ||||||||||
