Patrick Henry travel across town to Hidden Valley and March 23. This was the make up from previous rain cancellation. Zach Whitaker rebounded from his previous outing against Salem to pitch a masterful game. "Zach pitched really well tonight. We expect him to be really successful during his time at PH." Haigler said. This is the second game that PH has pitched well enough to win the game. Just last Friday, Jr. Will Kaufman pitched a solid game. As in the game last Friday, PH committed untimely errors that allowed Hidden Valley to take the lead. "We don't have to play a perfect game, we make the routine plays and get some help from other teams, we will be okay." added Haigler. Kemper Steffe got the scoring going early for PH as he drove in Zach Whitker in the bottom half of the first inning. PH posted another run on a sacrafice by DH Brad Sowers. Patrick Henry will take on another cross town rival as they play host to Salem on Wednesday, March 25 and and Northside on March 27. Start times will be 4:30 and 5:00 respectively. |
