| Game Notes: After three strong games this weekend, Kelowna Cubs self-destructed big time as the Coquitlam Reds pounded the Cubs 22-1 Sunday afternoon. Three hits and five walks off starter Tristan Collins gave the Reds a 7-0 lead in the first. Then the defense fell apart in the second, committing four errors, along with four more hits and two walks off reliever Tyler Klein, plating nine more Red runs. The only highlight for Kelowna was a leadoff triple in the fifth by Jordan Cheveldave, who then scored on a Bjorn Pohland sacrifice fly. Shaun Schaefer pitched well to pick up the win on the mound for Coquitlam. | ||||||||||
