MANKATO -- Eastview lost to Mankato for the second consecutive time to end their league schedule. With the loss, Eastview finished at 9-7 in 5th place. The Lightning fell behind early 7-0 but continued to battle back all game long. Their defense committed 4 errors, leading to 4 unearned runs. Eastview had runners on base all game long, as they loaded the bases three different times. They stranded 15 runners on base for the game. The Lightning have a few days off before starting the MBT State Tournament Friday morning. Their pool consists of Eagan, North Branch and Inver Grove Heights. Adam Stockwell (3-0, 1.85) will start his 5th game on the season when they face IGH. Game time is set for 1015am at Farmington High School.
